The Benaki Phytopathological Institute in collaboration with the National Center of Research “Demokritos” organized a conference entitled “Connecting innovative water reuse technologies with the Food Industry” in the framework of the Life PureAgroH2O project. The conference was held in Athens at the Royal Olympic Hotel, on Friday, 17.

In the framework of the LIFE PureAgroH2O Program: «Pollutant Photo-NF remediation of Agro-Water» (LIFE17 ENV/GR/000387, ΕC), an innovative technology has been developing, that is expected to provide pollutant retention over 99,5% and reduction of industrial waste at 95%.

The purpose of the event was to inform stakeholders, with a focus on the Food Industry, on new technologies related to the recycling of industrial waste water and the reuse of water either for drinking or irrigation.

Seven Sigma was represented by its Managing Director, Mr. Konstantinos Kokkinoplitis, who gave a presentation entitled: "Strategies for cutting-edge research that lead market-ready Innovative products". The conference was attended, amongst others, by foreign industrial partners specializing in Waste Management Technologies.
